We need a clear, actionable strategy to recruit members to our board of directors focused on filling several key leadership and skill-based roles. Our organization seeks structured support to identify the profiles and approaches that will attract suitable candidates for these specific openings.

The volunteer will develop a written board recruitment strategy tailored to filling our organization's named key board roles. We are looking for a volunteer with Board Development expertise to produce: a set of role descriptions and candidate profiles for each key role, recommended outreach channels and a prioritized sourcing approach, an outline of a selection and interview process with suggested timeline milestones, and a short onboarding/recruitment checklist the board can use to implement the plan.

Our organization is primed and ready to make this important investment. We are hoping that our volunteer can meet with our Founder/Executive Director for an intial meeting and then determine how to create the documentation and policies we will need as we look at when to recruit new board members.
