Join us in our mission to recruit passionate leaders for our nonprofit board! We are on the lookout for a volunteer to assist in creating a detailed recruitment plan. The project will involve:
- Collaborating with our leadership team to identify vacant positions
- Interviewing board or staff members involved in recruitment to assess past successes and challenges
- Crafting an initial draft of an inclusive recruitment strategy, focusing on attracting candidates who reflect the diversity of the community we serve and align with our current needs
- Refining the recruitment strategy by integrating feedback from key team members
Your expertise can help us build a stronger, more effective team dedicated to making a difference!

This project is crucial to advancing our organization's mission of promoting Brazilian culture and fostering community engagement in Chicago. We've taken significant steps to ensure its success, including securing internal buy-in from our Board of Directors and preparing comprehensive materials that outline our programs, mission, vision, and purpose. We've also completed several related Taproot Plus Projects, which have provided valuable insights and resources. Our team is fully prepared to implement the project outcomes, integrating them into our ongoing initiatives to maximize impact and reach. By collaborating with dedicated volunteers, we aim to enhance our cultural offerings and strengthen our community ties.

We will appoint a team member to lead the project and collaborate with the volunteer. Additionally, we will inform our Board of Directors about the project to ensure they are well-prepared. You'll receive detailed information about our stakeholders, along with a background briefing on our programs, mission, vision, and purpose. We will also provide you with access to relevant materials and our current recruitment pipelines.
