CRM Optimization: Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack

Help us make the most of out of our CRM! GLSEN Arizona is in a period of expansion and we are looking for a skilled Salesforce expert volunteer to help us in updating our Nonprofit Success Salesforce system to more effectively meet our needs as our organizational model has changed, including potential integration with other tools we are using. Once the volunteer implements the recommended changes, we’d like a brief training session and/or documented guidelines to follow so that we can maintain the CRM going forward.

Over the past three years, the GLSEN Arizona Chapter has gone from a volunteer and contractor-run organization based in Maricopa County, to a paid staff of five, with the entire state as our focus. We believe that LGBTQIA2S+ and ALL students deserve safe, affirming, and inclusive classrooms, and we provide resources for schools and school boards to implement inclusive policies, train supportive educators, support student clubs, and supply free inclusive lesson plans. Our expansion necessitates a comprehensive update to our Salesforce platform to best capture and refine our current data, accurately record our growing member base, track our training and compliance metrics, improve our communication and reporting capabilities, better reach our fundraising goals, and monitor other important data that aligns with specific goals and processes of the Chapter.

We have been using the Nonprofit Success Pack from Salesforce as our CRM and are ready to share credentials with a volunteer. We’ll come prepared with details about the specific types of data we want to collect and refine, our goals for updating the CRM, and a list of any other tools or software we use. Once the project is complete, we plan to continue onboarding all new staff members on Salesforce to best equip them to interact with CRM and its tools to positively increase our capacity and compile our various information into a comprehensive and dynamic database.
