Salesforce Set-Up & Transition from Airtable

We badly need a Salesforce CRM. Our organization has been using Airtable for the past few years as a database but the pricing model there has changed to not favor smaller organizations or nonprofits. We have almost all our data in order but have realized that Salesforce is rthe best tool to go forward for registrations, donations, and to integrate Mailchimp. A new custom CRM will revolutionize our entire business, and allow us to spend more time supporting students and teachers, and less time doing mindless data entry.

Uptown Stories just celebrated our 10th birthday and have realized that while it's not necessarily as fun as our writing workshops, data retention, and analysis is completely necessary to understand who we serve, how we serve them, and how we need to grow.

Donors ask for it. Grantors ask for it. Board members ask for it. We know what we need to see and understand but lack the technical know-how to set it up.

We have already collected our old data in Airtable (and are finalizing that data now), so in theory, it should be much easier to move to a new platform like Salesforce.
