Website Redesign: WordPress

We have a website, but it is super old school to me and, frankly, embarrassing. I was paying for everything out of my own pocket as the founder when I first got started to cover attorney fees, website, etc. I ended up using someone off Fiverr. I really want to website to look modern and include better visual content to attract more traffic to our site and to be powerful when potential donors browse our site. We're using WordPress.

We are a grassroots, brand-new nonprofit dedicated to saving lives. Since we began accepting applications for assistance, we have helped NINE patients without financial means get a second chance at life through heart transplants. Our website needs a major facelift. It is a tool for potential donors, and I want it to be compelling and powerful. I want it to portray how important our cause is, and it just doesn't do it. Our entire team is made up of volunteers, and I spend my own money on operational costs until we can raise enough money so that operational costs don't eat up too much of the money meant to help the most impoverished patients. Please help give our website a facelift!

We have a website that we don't like. I have taken notes on what can be improved and have ideas for how things can look much better, but I am not an expert. I am available and will be a point person for this project. We will plan an event to launch our new site. The picture I attached is from the first fundraiser we had, and the people in the picture are part of the leadership team. We raised $14,000 for transplant patients that night at an art gallery who were gracious enough to donate their space to us.
