We are a growing non-profit, and need someone to set up a book-keeping system for us to use. We now have requirements to produce budget reports to our funders and and to the IRS, and we currently have no systems in place to do this

It's a priority because our annual budget has grown from $10,000 to $135,000. We need to a) make sure we spend the money effectively so that we can fulfill our mission, b) not spend excessive time on record keeping and c) comply with all laws and best practices. The volunteer will have the chance to apply their expertise to help this worthy cause.

Our Executive Director has experience from other non-profits in working within such frameworks, so she will implement this once it's complete. We have a full account up to now of our (limited) expenditures

We fight poverty by supporting mothers who are struggling financially through community education, issue campaigns, legal advice, and mutual aid. We work in coalitions and seek to empower mothers to change policy through engaging them to tell their stories and connecting them to resources.
