The goal of this Taproot Plus session is to receive professional guidance on strengthening the capacity and sustainability of CTOP (Community Take Over Project). CTOP is a grassroots nonprofit focused on supporting underserved communities through charitable outreach, youth activities, and access to essential resources such as food, hygiene products, and community programs. While our mission and community engagement are strong, we currently face challenges related to limited funding and organizational growth.

During this 60-minute consultation, we would like support with identifying strategies to secure sustainable funding, strengthen our grant applications, and build partnerships with businesses, foundations, and community organizations. We would also appreciate guidance on how to better structure our programs and clearly measure our impact so that we can become more competitive for grants and sponsorship opportunities.

Specifically, we hope the volunteer can help us brainstorm practical steps to improve our fundraising strategy, refine how we present our mission and programs to potential funders, and outline a clear plan for growing CTOP’s programs while maintaining strong community engagement. The goal is to leave the session with actionable recommendations that will help CTOP expand its impact and continue serving underserved communities effectively.
