I need an LCSW to help me brainstorm what pieces of our existing patent-pending curriculum would be needed for a Train The Trainer manual (or what I call Grassroots Public Healthcare Education) for Social Workers.

We currently work within high schools and School-Based Health Centers where the program is designed to help teens navigate adult mental and physical health and care with confidence. Additionally, we work at Sing Sing Prison (NY) as a rolling 12 week reentry program through the Office of Mental Health.

The Healthcare Navigation Project is an independent 501(c)(3) intentionally designed to disrupt our complex healthcare system with a health literacy and mental health life-skills program for ALL youth transitioning to adult care (HCT), and everyone else. This includes rare or chronic disease, underserved communities, or those with educational disabilities. We bridge the gap in healthcare by empowering all people to learn to actually use healthcare and self-advocate before they need it instead of after when it's too late. We empower people.
