Optimizing Our CRM for Fundraising

Diversify Dietetics is seeking a volunteer with CRM and donor management expertise to support our fundraising infrastructure. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the nutrition and dietetics field by supporting students and professionals from underrepresented backgrounds through mentorship, scholarships, and professional development programs.

We currently use Little Green Light as our donor CRM and would like guidance on how to ensure we’re using it in a way that is both strategic and sustainable as our organization grows. During this 60-minute virtual call, we are hoping to receive advice and brainstorming support around best practices for organizing donor and prospect data, setting up meaningful engagement tracking (e.g., donations, event participation, email outreach), and streamlining workflows for fundraising outreach and follow-up.

Specifically, we would love help assessing whether our current data structure and fields are set up in a way that supports reporting, stewardship, and future fundraising campaigns; identifying opportunities to better use automation or integrations; and clarifying which metrics we should prioritize to understand donor engagement and retention. Our goal is not a full system overhaul, but clear, actionable recommendations we can implement with our small team to better support our mission and fundraising efforts.
