We need a volunteer to review our plan to convert a Portugal-based employee to an independent contractor and identify HR and compliance risks. This is the 30 person organizations only hire outside of the county. The volunteer should flag potential classification, employment-law, payroll/tax, benefits, and termination concerns, suggest key questions to ask, and recommend next steps or resources. Details of the role and the conversion plan will be provided during the session.
