We are seeking a branding expert to advise us on how to position the Berkeley Springs Castle as an expression of our mission, our operations, and our target markets. We've struggled to settle on a logo and branding basics that will encapsulate all the different elements of our mission. We do have a website, but it is a work in progress, and it would benefit from a clear vision. For the first few years, we opened the Castle to the public on an extremely limited basis. Demand for access was very high, and we sold out every event. In 2024 we stepped up the events and more than 900 people were brought through for historical tours over the summer, plus we had a handful of other ticketed and free events.

We recently got approved by Google Ad Grants to get $10,000k in free ads per month. We want to sort out our branding and targets before we launch the ad campaigns. We have a private Facebook page and a public Twitter account and are working to build up our email list. I am hopeful that after this session, I can determine what projects are priorities and move forward with developing our branding vision.
