Let's Be Ready (https://letsbeready.org/) is a grassroots non-profit founded over a decade ago that has been providing educational opportunity to rural Guatemalan schoolchildren. We have a proven track record of success, graduating hundreds of preschoolers through a sustainable initiative currently implemented in 27 classrooms across throughout Guatemala. The program provides jobs to unemployed youth in the community while combatting malnutrition, and we pride ourselves on costing only $200 per child as compared to the average per child cost of $10,000 in the USA.
We would like to replicate the program across more classrooms in Guatemala, and we are seeking a total investment of about 1-1.5 million USD over the course of the next 5-6 years to fund expansion. We need advice or suggestions on how to accumulate these funds and increase publicity so that we may connect with big donors/philanthropists who would be interested in supporting us.
