Design Staff Training Resources for Teachers

We are looking for a volunteer to design and deliver a comprehensive teacher training program. This investment in our staff development will institutionalise and improve our employee training practices and allow us to scale our operations.

Our education model is unique and highly effective: with our self-designed curriculum, we overcome illiteracy in <5 months, and prepare our students for University in just 6 years. Our teachers are the frontline of our work. They are the make or break of our students trajectories.

We're scaling - fast. Opening a new school within Lebanon every year until we reach 2,000 students, and putting together a franchising strategy to open up to 39 schools and reach 10,000 refugee students over ~5 years. This means we need to recruit and train new teachers fast - and guarantee excellent quality of instruction across the board.

We have reached a critical juncture. Our teacher training is effective but overly informal and small-scale. We need a training package that allows us to systematically deliver teacher training as we open new schools. We need to ensure quality and consistency and instil our teaching methods and company culture.

We have training materials (mostly PPT) that we currently use. We also have employee handbooks, curriculum files, and sample lesson plans. This project will require structuring and refining current material, as well as creating new material.
