Project Description:
Tangelic seeks a skilled grant writer to develop compelling proposals for our Sunrise Spectrum initiative in Ghana. This project expands access to clean energy in rural communities, addressing critical issues like energy poverty, health, and economic opportunity.
Specific Tasks:
Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with Tangelic's mission.
Analyze grant guidelines and requirements for eligibility and competitiveness.
Develop comprehensive proposals, including compelling narratives highlighting project goals, activities, outcomes, and impact.
Create detailed budgets and work plans to support the proposals.
Advise on grant reporting and ensure timely submission to funders.
Desired Outcomes:
3-5 complete grant proposals ready for submission within 6-9 weeks.
Increased capacity for grant writing and fundraising at Tangelic.
Secured funding for the expansion and scaling of the Sunrise Spectrum project.
Estimated Volunteer Time Commitment:
1-2 skilled volunteers
Approximately 30 hours per volunteer over 6-9 weeks (flexible).
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
Grant writing experience for non-profits (preferred)
Knowledge of renewable energy or international development is a plus.
Passion for social impact.
