Elevate the Web Design of a Social Services Nonprofit

Donate your web design knowledge to a nonprofit focused on reducing recidivism and increasing public safety!

We are looking for a volunteer to help us redesign our website to more accurately reflect our activities. We want to elevate our site pages to be more direct and effective in communicating what we do. Our current website is: www.restorativebayarea.org.

Restorative Community Solutions, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering historically divested communities through advocacy, coaching, and systemic change, is seeking a skilled web designer/developer volunteer. We have a need to redesign our current website to more accurately reflect our current work and to more effectively convey what we do.

I have generally come up with an idea of what we need to convey and what we should change about our current site. However, I need help on the technical and marketing pieces of executing these changes on the website.

We have another Taproot Project request currently open which will work on refining our mission statement and making it more clear. Once complete, that updated mission and vision statement will be able to be integrated into the website.

Other relevant site optimization opportunities include: Creating a section that highlights our current programs (including Incubating Community-Led Projects, Fiscal Sponsorship Internship Program, and Community Coaching), a section on featured projects, and updated donation capabilities.
