Human Resources Assessment and Solution Design
Chicago's Common Pantry provides emergency food and social services. We purchased a $1M building and need to evaluate our lean staff (3.5 FTEs), identify required skills/roles, and ensure competitive compensation, benefits, and policies.
Since Covid, we aren't just surviving, we're thriving, reaching more clients than ever. Our new building offers amazing possibilities; we need to need to think big, retain our small staff, and equip ourselves to offer our neighbors more.
We have a strategic plan outlining long-term goals, and we researched employee policies and created an employee handbook. We need to benchmark benefits and compensation against similar organizations and incorporate changes into the handbook.
