We need support preparing Kindred Montessori Academy’s 2026 Form 990-EZ with accurate financial records. The school made payments toward a storage container that is titled in the founder’s name, and we need help reviewing those payments to determine how to record them, whether any founder repayment is required, and what related-party disclosures (if any) must be made on the Form 990-EZ and supporting schedules.

We are looking for a volunteer with Accounting and QuickBooks expertise to review the container transaction and prepare or review our 2026 Form 990-EZ.

The volunteer will:
- Deliver a written review of the storage container transaction that explains the recommended accounting treatment and any required related-party disclosure points.
- Provide recommended QuickBooks correcting entries (specific journal entries or account adjustments) and clear step-by-step instructions for applying them in our QuickBooks file.
- Provide a concise list of records and board documentation we should retain related to the transaction (agreements, approvals, receipts, repayment records, etc.).
- Complete the 2026 Form 990-EZ with applicable schedules, or professionally review our completed Form 990-EZ and provide annotated corrections and notes.
- Identify and flag any matters that require consultation with a nonprofit attorney or additional tax/CPA advice.
