IMBY Africa is seeking a volunteer with nonprofit web design and WordPress development experience to help us turn our current early-stage draft website into a more professional, focused, and user-friendly site.

We already have much of the core content, branding, photographs, program information, donation information, and page concepts. However, the current site is not fully developed and needs professional support with visual design, page structure, navigation, mobile responsiveness, and WordPress implementation.

To keep the project achievable within Taproot’s engagement window, we are limiting the scope to five priority pages:

We can provide examples and screenshots of nonprofit websites that reflect the visual quality and user experience we would like to achieve. These will be used for inspiration only, while maintaining a distinct identity for IMBY Africa.

Our goal is to create a professional, credible website that clearly communicates our mission, programs, impact, and opportunities for donors, volunteers, and partners.

The primary deliverable is a completed, responsive five-page WordPress website for IMBY Africa consisting of:

The volunteer will help refine and implement the page layouts, visual design, navigation, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience using our existing branding, content, photographs, and program information.

Success will mean that all five pages are professionally designed, functional on desktop and mobile devices, easy to navigate, and ready for public use.

Additional pages such as country-specific pages, Gallery, Impact, Testimonials, Newsletter, and other future content are outside the scope of this engagement and can be developed in a later phase.

The WordPress website should remain under an account controlled by IMBY Africa, with the organization retaining full administrative access and control of the website, media, files, database, domain connection, and backups.
