Women Eco Artists Dialog needs help with search engine optimization. We historically had two websites that appeared, from a user perspective, to be one site. The first site was a Wix site, and it included all of our event and exhibition information. The second site was a largely custom-coded WordPress website that had a directory of all of member artists and their one page portfolios, as well as our online magazine. Last year, we transitioned both of these sites to one theme and plug-in based WordPress site. We understand that SEO will usually take a hit for several months after a web launch. However, both sites used to rank on Google's top page for "eco art" and "ecoart." Now we don't even rank in the first 4 pages for those words, even though we did not change our content, we just moved it to a new platform.
We would like help (1) determining what technology gaps happened during the transition that led to this situation, (2) how we can address it, and (3) determining additional keywords to optimize for.

WEAD is a pioneering network of feminist ecoartists, educators, curators, and writers working toward the goal of a just and healthy world. We focus on women’s unique perspective in ecological and social justice art. WEAD maintains an invaluable website (weadartists.org) that serves as a virtual gallery of ecoartists work, connects artists and curators with exhibition opportunities, and educates and enlightens through its groundbreaking WEAD Magazine. Focusing on women’s unique perspectives we collaborate internationally to further the field and understanding of ecological and social justice art.
