Asia Global Forum is currently developing a study examining imbalances in global governance and their implications for Asia and other regions.

As part of this initiative, we are seeking a consultant to undertake initial desk research to contribute to the development of the study’s methodology. This role is ideal for a professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in policy analysis, international relations, diplomacy, or socio-economic research who has a demonstrated interest in global governance.

The project will focus on mapping and analyzing existing information on regional representation and leadership structures across institutions involved in global governance. This includes international organizations, as well as formal and informal strategic alliances, committees, boards, multistakeholder bodies, and major non-governmental organizations.

The tasks of this project are to:

1. Research global and regional organizations, multilateral development banks, as well as formal and informal strategic alliances, committees, multistakeholder bodies, and major non-governmental organizations involved in global governance.

2. Compile a comprehensive list of these organizations, categorized by region and specific areas of global governance.

3. Provide additional information for each organization, including location, name of the head of organization, approximate staff size, organization’s website, and relevant contact details.

4. Where relevant, provide recommendations based on the research findings.
