Develop creative, on-brand naming concepts for how braveONE refers to the children, mentors, and mentorship matches within our program.
braveONE is a first-of-its-kind mentorship program connecting children living with Type 1 Diabetes with screened and trained adult mentors who also live with T1D. As our organization grows, we want the language we use for our community to feel as intentional and distinctive as our program.
Currently, we use traditional terms like “mentor” and “mentee,” but “mentee” feels formal and does not reflect the warmth, connection, and personality of braveONE. We call the children in our program Warriors, but we are open to rethinking how our mentors, children, and matches are named as a connected system.
During this 60-minute session, we would love to brainstorm creative naming directions with someone experienced in branding, messaging, or naming. Our goal is not necessarily to leave with finalized names, but to explore strong concepts, themes, and language that feel authentic to braveONE and can grow with our national community.
