Google Ads Support

Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV) receives a Google Ad Grant that provides up to $10,000 per month in free Google Search advertising to help drive awareness of and engagement with our programs and services. Historically, we have used only a small portion of the available grant.

Our Communications team has invested time in trying to improve our use of the grant, but we have limited resources in terms of both time and specialized expertise. That work has surfaced several areas where we would benefit from expert guidance, including how to properly set up conversion tracking to measure cinema ticket and workshop sales, whether to use Smart or Standard Search campaigns, and how to structure bidding so that the grant is driving meaningful results rather than simply generating clicks. We are also considering whether we may need additional long-term support from an external source, to manage or assist with this work, once we have a better understanding of the skills and level of expertise required, and whether that support would be a worthwhile investment of resources.

Getting these decisions right could make the difference between a grant that continues to underperform and potentially risks being shut down, and one that meaningfully helps DCTV increase awareness of and engagement with our programs and services.
