About the Opportunity

We know our mission. You know design. With just one hour of your time, you could help us make our website easier to navigate, more engaging, and more accessible to the people who need us most.

Our site serves an all-volunteer, multi-generational Eritrean-American community nonprofit — elders, working parents, and youth all rely on it for very different things, and no one on our board has a design background. In our hour together, we'd love your eye on: reviewing our homepage so a first-time visitor immediately understands who we are and what to do next, the necessary details that explain our services (events, services, programs, renting) , and quick tips on mobile usability and accessibility given how wide our visitors' age range is.

We are a nonprofit so we would like the design to also cater to potential grant providing businesses, a sense of professionalism will be needed.

You don't need to commit to a full redesign — just lend us your expert eye and a bit of your time. We'll leave with a list of high-impact changes and a lot more confidence moving forward.

Organization Mission

EACAG exists to strengthen and serve the Eritrean community of Georgia across three enduring commitments: A United Community — Building a harmonious, prosperous community where members support one another and renew the mutual respect inherited from our forefathers; Culture & Youth — Enabling our youth to learn their language and culture, stay connected to their roots, and grow close to one another; Support for New Arrivals — Helping new immigrants access the social and economic resources available to them, and supporting families through life’s challenges.
