Board Advice for Rosewood

Our all-volunteer board is made up of committed people, but most of the organization’s day-to-day work is currently falling to two board members. We’re feeling stretched and want to strengthen how our board shares responsibility before we decide whether hiring paid leadership is the right next step.

We’d like to meet with a volunteer who has experience in nonprofit board development, governance, or volunteer leadership.

In this one-hour session, we’d like help identifying practical ways to increase board engagement, clarify board member responsibilities, and create more shared ownership of the work.

By the end of the session, we hope to leave with a clearer understanding of what our board can adjust now and what questions we should consider before exploring an Executive Director role.
