Crowdfunding Campaign Strategy

We would like to meet with a volunteer who has experience designing and launching successful crowdfunding campaigns for nonprofits, social impact initiatives, community projects, or startup ventures.

Elev8 Villages is a nonprofit focused on creating transformational communities for young adults aging out of foster care. Our model centers on belonging, stable housing, mentorship, employment opportunities, and long-term support. We are currently planning a national awareness and fundraising tour that will travel across the United States, sharing stories, hosting Belonging Circles, building partnerships, and generating support for the launch of our first Elev8 Village.

During this 60-minute call, we would like help thinking through the best crowdfunding strategy for our organization.

Specific topics we would like to discuss include:

• The advantages and disadvantages of different campaign structures
• How to craft a compelling campaign narrative that inspires action
• Donor psychology and what motivates people to contribute to crowdfunding campaigns
• Common mistakes to avoid and factors that contribute to successful campaigns

We are looking for practical advice, brainstorming, and strategic guidance rather than implementation support. By the end of the conversation, we hope to have greater clarity about our fundraising focus, campaign structure, messaging approach, and next steps for preparing a successful crowdfunding effort.

The volunteer's expertise will help us build a stronger fundraising strategy, increase awareness of the challenges faced by youth aging out of foster care, and accelerate our efforts to create communities where young people can experience stability, belonging, and opportunity.
