Our organization has full time locations located in Los Angeles and Nashville with nearly 35 employees in each location plus a Summer "Pup Up" in the New York. As our organization grows and builds out our development team with new hires it's also looking to ensure the roles and responsibilities at the leadership level are setup in a way that's efficient as it aims to set the organization up for growth in the future.

There have been several internal conversations on this topic that have proven productive but it would be valuable to get some additional thoughts from an additional resource with experience in this level of growth and/or org chart build out.

Organization Mission

Wags and Walks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a dedicated community of dog lovers working to reduce euthanasia in local shelters, rescue dogs in need, provide medical support, and place them in loving homes while increasing awareness of rescue dogs as the best dogs in the world. The organization uses its unique family-friendly foster and adoption programs to build its community as it continues to find ways to expand its impact. Between the full time brick and mortar locations in Los Angeles and Nashville plus the Summer events in New York, the organization has rescued nearly 16,000 dogs since 2011.
