Hello,
I am the Chair of the board for the PTGA. I have questions about insurance for non-profits. We are a 501c(6) industry association based in Montana. PTGA is still in the growth stages and we are at a point where we can afford insurance, and want to have it. However, we are finding it quite confusing. Our programs and partnerships are international, which raises questions about types of insurance and coverages. I have been in touch with an insurance agent directly, however it is still unclear where our liabilities truly lie. I am therefore hoping to speak with someone versed in what types of exposure we actually have as an industry association that creates standards for training and certification, and therefore what types of insurance we should procure.
