I am working to redesign our website's homepage and footer using Wordpress. I have zero experience with this software and while I have been able to stumble around most things, I would just like a bit more formal training/tips from someone who is experienced in the software.

My main issue right now is I would like to update our footer to look like this page's footer and I have no idea how to do that: https://www.austinpetsalive.org/. I would also like for the menu bar (the grey part) at the top to be spread out across the entire page and I'm not sure if that is possible.

If time allows, I have a couple of other questions, but I know that time is limited with this session so this would be a great start.
