Legacy Paws Rescue was awarded the Google Ad Grant, up to $10,000 a month in free search advertising. We're looking for a Google Ads consultant to get our account set up right, launch our first campaigns, and train a team member to keep it running.
We're building a different kind of rescue, focused on prevention, education, and supporting both ends of the leash. Right now, someone is searching "my dog is aggressive" or "how to rehome my dog" at 2am, scared and out of options. This grant gives us a way to be the first thing they find. We just need help using it well.
1. Account audit. A review of our current Ad Grant account setup, with fixes for anything that puts us at risk or holds us back.
2. Conversion tracking. Tracking set up for the actions that matter most, like help requests, quiz completions, and donations.
3. Campaigns for one or two priority audiences. Starting with owners who are struggling with their dogs, built with keywords, ad groups, and ads that meet grant requirements.
4. Monthly report template and compliance checklist. A simple report our team can fill in each month, and a checklist to keep us in good standing with Google's grant rules.
5. Team training. A walkthrough so one of our team members can confidently manage the account after handoff.
What "done" looks like
The account is audited, tracking is working, our first campaigns are live, and a team member has been trained to run the monthly report and checklist on their own.
Timeline: 6 to 8 weeks
Tools we use: Google Ad Grants, Google Workspace, and our website at legacypawsrescue.org.
Who we're looking for
Someone experienced with Google Ads, ideally Google Ad Grants for nonprofits, who explains things clearly to people who aren't marketers.
If you believe the right message at the right moment can keep a dog out of a shelter, we'd love to build something meaningful with you.
