About the Opportunity

About our organization
Help (Help Polis Inc.) is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs a mobile app making charitable giving simple, transparent, and part of everyday life. The app maps verified nonprofit cases, so users can see where help is needed and support causes directly. Cyprus is our first launch market in Europe.

What we need help with
We are launching email communication with our app users for the first time. We need an experienced email or lifecycle marketing specialist to help us set everything up correctly from the start, avoid common beginner mistakes, and support us through November until email becomes a steady routine.

Where we are now
We chose Loops as our platform because it is built for event-triggered app emails. We have drafted the overall flow: email collection at sign-up, user data and events sent from the app, GDPR consent, and a list of 18 planned emails (welcome, donation thank-you, monthly impact report, reminders, and more). Our MVP priorities are the welcome email and the monthly report. Our product team will build the integration and needs a clear brief from us.

Scope of support

- Review our plan: platform choice, email list, triggers, and launch priorities.
- Help set up Loops: sending domain, deliverability, contact data, segments, and automated flows.
- Define the events and user data the app should send, as a brief for our product team.
- Advise on GDPR-compliant consent and unsubscribe practices.
- Give feedback on our first emails for a multilingual audience reading in English.
- Support the launch through November with regular check-ins, until we can run it on our own.

Deliverables

- Written feedback on our email strategy and launch priorities.
- A setup checklist for Loops (domain, deliverability, data, segments, flows).
- A clear list of events and data requirements for our product team.
- Feedback on our first email drafts.
- Regular check-ins during November (for example, weekly calls) and a short wrap-up with recommendations for next steps.
