What we need help with
We are looking for a PR or communications professional to review our current press materials and help us shape a PR strategy on two levels: Cyprus, our first launch market in Europe, and our global positioning.
Track 1: Press materials review (Cyprus and global)
Press release review. Assess whether the release is structured correctly, whether the core idea of the project comes through clearly, and what changes would increase the chance of media pick-up. We would value advice on adapting the release for Cyprus-based outlets as well as international media.
Media list review ("keeper list"). Review our list of target outlets and suggest which to add, remove, or prioritize, separately for Cyprus and for international and sector media.
Track 2: Strategic PR overview
Channels and activities. Recommend where to focus, for example industry events and exhibitions, charity partnerships, and media relations, and how priorities differ between Cyprus and international markets.
Storytelling. Help us choose which stories to lead with, such as our team, our partners, everyday donors, and the people the platform helps, and how to frame them for each audience.
Our PR goals are:
- B2B partnerships. Attract large companies, brands, and institutional partners to collaborate with us and share their resources, expertise, and audiences.
- Nonprofit network growth. Bring more charities and NGOs onto the Help map to scale the number of cases.
- Awareness and user growth. Build broad reach and drive new users to the app.
- Brand value. Build trust in Help as a meaningful social project through human stories.
- Reputation. Establish Help in public discourse as a modern technology platform that makes charity understandable, accessible, and habitual.
Deliverables
Written feedback and suggested edits on our press release, with notes for Cyprus and international versions.
An annotated media list with additions, removals, and priorities for both markets.
A short PR strategy overview (call or document) covering recommended channels, key stories, and first steps for Cyprus and globally.
Materials we will provide
We will share the press release draft, the media list, our PR goals brief, and app and brand materials.
Timeline
The press materials review is our most urgent need, and we are ready to start immediately. The strategic overview can follow over the next few weeks.
