Youth Empowering Society (Y.E.S.) seeks a pro bono consultant with access to Adobe Illustrator and demonstrated experience managing social media, or a small team covering both areas. We empower urban young adults through life skills, financial education, technology training, mentoring, and employment readiness. Our immediate priority is the January 2027 Cleveland cohort for ages 18–24 and the “One Million People Know Y.E.S.” awareness campaign.
We need consistent, usable graphics and hands-on help turning approved messaging into scheduled posts. This is a focused, remote eight-week project, approximately 2–5 hours per week per volunteer, with scope and milestones confirmed at kickoff. Applicants should provide Illustrator portfolio samples, examples of social accounts or campaigns they have managed, software access, weekly availability, and a realistic delivery schedule. Experience communicating respectfully and effectively with urban African-American youth and nonprofit audiences is valuable.
We welcome either one professional qualified in both areas or complementary design and social media specialists. Please identify which workstream you can own.
Deliver a practical graphics and social media launch package:
1. Audit existing Y.E.S. assets and messages; agree on priority channels, six core reusable designs, and dated milestones at kickoff.
2. Create or finish six reusable Adobe Illustrator designs for cohort recruitment, sponsorship, volunteering, partnerships, and campaign awareness. Deliver editable .ai source files plus print-ready PDF and appropriately sized web exports, using Y.E.S. branding consistently.
3. Build a four-week content calendar with 12 posts, captions, calls to action, and matching graphics adapted from those designs.
4. Help schedule and manage the approved four-week publishing pilot using our selected platform (Buffer or Metricool, subject to account readiness). Define a simple response/escalation process and provide weekly progress and performance summaries. Account permissions and publication approvals will be arranged separately.
5. Deliver an organized asset folder, a concise posting/measurement guide, and one handoff session so our team can continue the workflow.
Weeks 1–2: asset review and first designs; weeks 3–4: final assets and calendar; weeks 5–8: publishing pilot and handoff. El Simpson will coordinate source materials and approvals. Final workload will be agreed before matching. Website rebuilding, paid advertising, and indefinite account management are outside this project.
