Creshendo’s team increasingly represents the organization at conferences, community events, partnership meetings, and networking opportunities. We want our leaders and volunteers to feel confident explaining who Creshendo is, adapting our message to different audiences, and recognizing opportunities to build meaningful relationships.
Our Marketing & Communications team is developing consistent organizational talking points. We are seeking a skilled communications professional to complement that work by helping our team strengthen the practical skills needed to represent Creshendo externally.
The volunteer will design and facilitate a practical 60–90 minute virtual training for Creshendo team members.
The session should help participants:
Introduce Creshendo clearly and confidently
Adapt their message for funders, partners, nonprofits, community members, and other audiences
Network and build authentic professional relationships
Respond to common or difficult questions while staying aligned with Creshendo’s messaging
Recognize and appropriately follow up on partnership, funding, or visibility opportunities
Understand key do’s and don’ts when representing Creshendo externally
Practice through brief scenarios or role-play
Creshendo will provide organizational background, messaging, and talking points. Success means participants leave with practical skills and greater confidence representing Creshendo consistently and authentically.
Estimated commitment: 3–5 hours total, including preparation, coordination, and delivery.
