Our social media presence is inconsistent and does not reflect the expanded scope of 7more’s services or the number of people we serve. Service volume has grown significantly, yet awareness of our release-day assistance, reentry supports, and opportunities to donate, volunteer, or mentor is not translating into engagement or meaningful action online. We need a consistent, sustainable social media system that increases awareness, attracts donors/volunteers/mentors, improves engagement, and converts online attention into real-world involvement without placing the entire workload on our small staff. All content must preserve dignity, protect privacy, and avoid stigmatizing language or imagery.
We are looking for a volunteer with Social Media Marketing expertise to produce actionable, platform-specific materials our team can implement. The volunteer will:
- Deliver an audit of our current social media accounts, content, engagement, audience, calls to action, and visual consistency as a written report with clear findings and recommended next steps.
- Produce a practical social media strategy tailored to the platforms most appropriate for 7more that aligns with goals for awareness, donor/volunteer/mentor recruitment, engagement, and conversion into action.
- Create a platform-specific posting guide for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other recommended platforms that explains recommended post types, formatting, hooks, caption length, visuals, hashtags, calls to action, link usage, and suggested posting frequency and timing.
- Provide guidance and concrete examples for running social media campaigns that communicate funding needs and recruit donors, volunteers, mentors, sponsors, and event supporters, plus a content-privacy and dignity checklist (consent language, anonymization approaches, and language/image guidelines to avoid stigma).
