7more has an established name, logo, mission, website, colors, photographs, program materials, social media content, fundraising campaigns, and event designs, but these assets were developed over time by different people for different purposes and are inconsistent. Staff and volunteers do not have a single, organized branding system to follow, which makes it difficult for all outputs to appear professional, recognizable, and consistent. We do not intend to replace our existing identity or logo as part of this effort.
We are looking for a volunteer with Brand Strategy and Visual Identity expertise to review our current materials and produce a complete, easy-to-use brand kit for 7more. We will begin with a brief kickoff conversation to clarify the few existing brand elements that must remain unchanged, explain why they are important, and share our overall direction; after that, the volunteer will have broad creative freedom to develop the brand kit without unnecessary meetings or micromanagement.
The volunteer will:
- Deliver a review of our existing logo, colors, fonts, website, social media, event materials, and other visual assets, documenting inconsistencies and gaps.
- Produce a complete brand-guidelines document that explains proper and improper use of the 7more logo and visual identity.
- Provide primary and secondary color palettes with HEX, RGB, CMYK, and print color information.
- Recommend primary and secondary fonts and include accessible, affordable alternatives.
- Create guidance for photography, icons, graphics, backgrounds, spacing, and overall visual style.
- Draft brand voice and messaging guidance that reflects dignity, hope, accountability, relationships, fresh starts, and practical reentry support while avoiding stigmatizing language or imagery.
- Deliver approved logo versions for light, dark, color, black-and-white, horizontal, vertical, and small-format uses.
- Organize and deliver properly named logo and brand files in commonly needed formats.
- Provide a Canva Brand Kit or an organized set of Canva-ready assets and a set of reusable Canva templates staff can use.
