About the Opportunity

Global Empowerment Network, Inc. (GEN) is a growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing education, legal support, economic empowerment, and community-support programs.

As GEN expands, we need a clear and consistent way to design our programs so that each one has a defined target population, identified need, clear goals, activities, timeline, outputs, and expected outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced program design professional to help us create a practical, reusable program design framework that can be used across GEN’s programs.

As a pilot, we would like to apply the framework to GEN’s English Language Program. This will allow our team to learn how to use the framework and later adapt it independently for other programs such as digital literacy, financial literacy, and community education.

GEN can provide information and existing materials from our English Language Program. Learn more at www.globalempowermentnetwork.org.

By the end of the project, we would like a practical and reusable program design framework that GEN can use to structure current and future programs.

The framework should include templates for defining:

- Target population
- Need or problem being addressed
- Program goals
- Main activities
- Timeline
- Outputs
- Expected outcomes

The consultant will also help us apply the framework to GEN’s existing English Language Program as a pilot example.

Success would mean that GEN has one clearly structured program and a simple framework our team can independently use to design other programs in the future.
