2027 Race to Thrive 5K Marketing Campaign

We need a coordinated marketing campaign and reusable promotional content for our 2027 Race to Thrive 5K to increase event awareness, attract corporate and community sponsors, and encourage individual and team registrations. We also want the campaign to connect participation and sponsorship to Rose Leaf Foundation’s mission of supporting young people transitioning from foster care into adulthood and to be suitable for reuse across social media, email, our website, and partner outreach.

We are seeking a volunteer with Content Marketing and Marketing Strategy expertise to create a ready-to-use marketing toolkit and campaign strategy for our 2027 Race to Thrive 5K. The volunteer will:
- Deliver a 2027 5K marketing campaign plan that includes a recommended release schedule and timeline for channels (social, email, website, partner outreach).
- Produce key campaign messaging and several candidate taglines that explicitly connect participation and sponsorship to Rose Leaf Foundation’s mission.
- Create reusable social media content: a package of post copy and caption templates sized for reuse across platforms and a short guide on post frequency and tone.
- Prepare sponsor-focused promotional messaging and outreach copy designed to engage corporate and community sponsors, including suggested sponsorship levels or value propositions.
- Draft participant recruitment content and email marketing copy for individual and team registration outreach, including suggested subject lines and sequence ideas.

All content should be formatted and written for easy reuse across social media, email, our website, and partner outreach so our team can begin promoting the 2027 5K well in advance.
