About the Opportunity

The challenge we would like to address is that braveONE has grown quickly and our visual presence has developed organically along the way. As we expand our programs, chapters, events, fundraising, partnerships, and communications, we need a more cohesive brand system that helps everything we create feel unmistakably like braveONE while still being easy for our small team to use consistently.

By the end of this project, the consultant will deliver a practical, easy-to-use brand guide for braveONE that establishes consistent standards for our logo usage, color palette, typography, photography and imagery, graphic elements, and overall visual style. The guide should include examples and recommendations for applying the brand across social media, presentations, newsletters, reports, event materials, and other communications so our team and future volunteers can create materials that feel cohesive and recognizable.

Organization Mission

braveONE is a first-of-its-kind mentorship program connecting children living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) with screened, trained adult mentors who live with T1D too. Through intentional one-to-one relationships built around shared interests, personality and lived experience, we help kids feel less alone and more confident growing up with T1D. In just over a year, braveONE has grown to 50+ matches across 19 states, creating 134+ outings and nearly 300 hours of connection between kids and mentors. More than 150 families are currently waiting for a mentor. Our mission is simple: no child should have to navigate Type 1 Diabetes feeling like they are the only one.
