Donor Outreach and Partnership Strategy

PDRS is a Gaza-based nonprofit that currently lacks an established external network and effective outreach channels to reach potential donors, supporters, and strategic partners. While we have begun direct outreach to organizations and networks, these efforts have not yet resulted in a sustainable network or reliable pathways to donors. PDRS operates through fiscal sponsorship with a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity, providing a framework for tax-deductible charitable fundraising and access to philanthropic opportunities through our fiscal sponsor. Our key challenge is developing a practical, relationship-based approach to reach the right networks, build trusted partnerships, and ultimately create sustainable pathways to unrestricted charitable donations.

By the end of this project, the consultant will deliver a practical donor outreach and partnership development strategy that PDRS can implement immediately. The deliverable should include: identification and prioritization of relevant donor audiences, networks, communities, and potential partner types; recommended channels and approaches for reaching them; a relationship-building and engagement framework for converting initial outreach into trusted relationships and partnerships; and recommendations for creating sustainable pathways to individual donors and unrestricted charitable giving. The strategy should also include a practical 90-day action plan with clear priorities and next steps. Success will mean that PDRS has a focused, repeatable approach for moving from cold outreach to relationship-based donor and partner development, rather than relying on ad hoc outreach.

Organization Mission

PDRS works to improve the well-being and resilience of vulnerable communities in Gaza through psychological and psychosocial support, humanitarian assistance, and developmental programs. We focus particularly on children, families, and communities affected by conflict, displacement, trauma, and humanitarian crises, while strengthening their capacity for recovery and long-term resilience.
