About the Opportunity

We need a pro bono volunteer to help us implement Little Green Light (LGL) as our CRM program before the end of the year. We manage 130 volunteers, 350 program participants, and 700 chapter members and plan to use LGL to manage our constituents. We request assistance to complete the implementation and move our constituent data into LGL If possible, assistance adding categories of constituents and creating forms would be a bonus. We have no prior experience with CRM software, having relied upon Excel spreadsheets and Google Forms.

We are looking for a volunteer with CRM implementation expertise (Little Green Light experience preferred) to implement LGL for our memberships, volunteers, and donors.
- Configure Little Green Light to support our member base, volunteer roster, and program participant records, including setting up constituent types, relevant fields, and segments needed for renewals and acknowledgments.
- Assist with data transfer by mapping our existing membership, volunteer, and participant data for import and performing or supporting the import and validation of those records into LGL.
-A successful outcome would be to have our member data properly imported and categorized.

Organization Mission

To inspire people to enjoy and protect birds, wildlife and biodiversity through education, advocacy and restoration of the habitat we all share. The options below are quite limited, so I will add that we are working on urban and suburban livability and sustainability through our Habitat Haven program. This program addresses ways residential properties can mitigate stormwater runoff, create healthy soil, reduce pesticides and sustain pollinators and birds through native plant restoration. We also offer one of the largest Christmas Bird Counts in the country, as well as a Birds in The Schools program that reaches hundreds of Title 1 elementary school children annually. We offer monthly guided bird outings including one for LGBTQAI+ people, a monthly newsletter and monthly program meeting with expert speakers.
