About the Opportunity

Creshendo is moving from an early-stage, volunteer-led nonprofit into a more structured and scalable organization. We have developed our strategic direction, but now need to translate that direction into clear priorities, measurable goals, ownership, and execution across our leadership team.

We are seeking a facilitator with experience in Hoshin Kanri, Lean Six Sigma, or similar strategy deployment approaches to help our leadership team turn longer-term aspirations into a focused organizational roadmap.

We are particularly interested in a right-sized Hoshin Kanri process, potentially using an X-Matrix, to connect our longer-term direction with annual breakthrough priorities, key initiatives, measures, and accountable owners.

We do not want a heavy corporate planning system. We want someone who can adapt the methodology for a young, global, volunteer-led nonprofit and help us make real strategic choices rather than simply create another planning document.

The volunteer will review Creshendo’s existing strategic materials and design and facilitate two interactive virtual strategy alignment sessions with our leadership team.

The engagement will include:

* Reviewing our existing strategy and organizational priorities
* Adapting Hoshin Kanri or a similar strategy deployment approach to our organization
* Designing and facilitating two interactive leadership sessions
* Clarifying a small number of longer-term and annual breakthrough priorities
* Translating priorities into initiatives, measurable outcomes, and accountable owners
* Developing a lightweight strategy alignment tool, potentially an X-Matrix
* Recommending a simple cadence for reviewing progress and maintaining alignment

Success means Creshendo leaves with fewer, clearer priorities, measurable outcomes, defined ownership, and a practical system connecting strategy to execution.

We already have strategic planning materials and leadership input in place. Our Strategic Advisor, who introduced the Hoshin Kanri approach and has experience with systems thinking, can provide context and collaborate with the volunteer as appropriate.
