Grandmothers’ Village Project is seeking to strengthen and diversify our fundraising beyond grants. We need a practical, sustainable approach to individual giving, donor cultivation, sponsorships, corporate giving, and philanthropic partnerships that can grow with the organization. We are seeking support to identify promising funding prospects, strengthen our approach to cultivating supporters, and develop fundraising messaging that clearly communicates GMVP’s mission, vision, and case for support.
By the end of this project, we would like a practical fundraising framework that helps Grandmothers’ Village Project diversify our funding and build stronger relationships with individual, philanthropic, corporate, and institutional supporters.
The consultant will help us:
• identify promising prospects for individual giving, sponsorships, philanthropic support, corporate giving, and institutional partnerships, and provide practical methods for identifying and researching additional prospects over time
• develop a manageable approach for reaching, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with prospective donors, funders, sponsors, and partners
• develop a clear fundraising messaging framework that communicates what GMVP is building, why it matters, our case for support, and key messages to guide future donor, sponsor, funder, and partner outreach
• develop a simple 6–12 month fundraising calendar with realistic priorities and activities
• establish a straightforward fundraising process that future development volunteers or team members can continue
The final deliverables will provide GMVP with a realistic fundraising roadmap, an initial pool of prospective supporters, a method for identifying additional prospects, a clear fundraising messaging framework, and a sustainable process our team can continue using as we build the financial support needed to move the Village forward.
