The Comboflex Foundation is a growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers youth with mobility disabilities through boxing, inclusive fitness, and adaptive equipment. We need help developing consistent, compelling fundraising language that clearly explains the community need, our programs, expected outcomes, and the impact of donor support.
We have created program descriptions and submitted individual funding requests, but our language and supporting materials currently vary between applications. As a small organization, rewriting this information for every opportunity takes considerable time and can lead to inconsistent messaging. We are seeking an experienced nonprofit writer or fundraising professional to organize and strengthen our existing information into a clear case for support and reusable grant-writing toolkit.
By the end of this project, the consultant will deliver a professional case for support and a reusable grant-writing toolkit for The Comboflex Foundation.
The completed toolkit should include:
• A two-page case for support
• A master organizational narrative
• Short 50-, 150-, and 500-word organization descriptions
• A clear community need statement
• Descriptions of our adaptive boxing, inclusive fitness, and adaptive-equipment programs
• Goals, anticipated outcomes, and impact language
• A reusable grant-proposal template
• A basic budget-narrative template
• A grant submission and document checklist
Success will mean that our organization has clear, consistent, funder-ready language that can be customized for future foundation, corporate, and community grant opportunities.
