About the Opportunity

We have limited staff capacity to develop platform-specific profiles, cohesive messaging, and a practical launch strategy while also managing daily programming and operations. Without a clear social media foundation across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, it is difficult to consistently communicate our mission, highlight programs and youth impact (including HARVEST), reach families in rural communities, engage potential volunteers and community partners, and build awareness among prospective supporters.

We are looking for a volunteer with Social Media Marketing expertise to support this launch and capacity-building work. The volunteer will:
- Review and optimize our LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram profiles, producing platform-appropriate descriptions, biographies, calls to action, and a short list of recommended profile elements for each platform.
- Create a concise social media strategy that identifies primary audiences, communication goals, key content themes, recommended posting frequency, and basic engagement practices our small team can maintain.
- Deliver a coordinated social media foundation and launch plan for PFK Shield and Shelter that outlines a practical, maintainable process for publishing and basic engagement after the project ends.

We will provide our logo, brand colors, mission and program information, approved photographs, website and donation links, and appropriate account access or credentials for profile updates, plus timely feedback on draft materials.
