Prepare and File a Nonprofit Tax Extension

We are looking for a pro bono consultant with nonprofit tax expertise to help us prepare and file an extension for our upcoming tax filing. Our bookkeeping is up to date and our financial records are ready, but our team does not have the tax expertise needed to complete the extension.

The consultant will review the information needed for the extension, prepare the appropriate extension filing, identify any missing information or questions that need to be addressed, and provide a completed extension for our organization to review and submit.

Organization Mission

The Rabbit Haven is an entirely volunteer-run nonprofit that has been rescuing rabbits and educating the community for nearly 40 years. Founded by Heather Bechtel in 1987, the organization has no paid staff — every dollar and every volunteer hour supports its mission. Heather herself has dedicated seven days a week for almost four decades to saving rabbits, finding them loving homes, and giving them the care and second chances they deserve.
