About the Opportunity

Help a disability-led nonprofit build its next chapter of impact. Disability Partnerships improves the quality of life of people living with disabilities through adaptive health and wellness programs, education, economic empowerment and initiatives supporting independence, education, and access.

Our longtime volunteer executive director is retiring in October 2026. We need an experienced professional to help preserve essential knowledge, strengthen program operations, and translate our 2026–2028 strategic plan into a practical 2027 operating roadmap.

Working directly with our founder and operations manager, you will help build the systems behind dependable adaptive fitness classes, accurate participation records, responsible budgeting, and effective board coordination. We have a strategic plan and program schedule to serve as starting points.

This remote project is proposed for 12 weeks at approximately 5–7 hours per week, with scope finalized together.

Create a practical leadership-transition and program-operations toolkit that our small team can maintain. Deliverables will include:

* A leadership handoff guide documenting essential workflows, recurring responsibilities, deadlines, and recommended ownership.
* A draft 2027 program calendar identifying class start and end dates, breaks, instructor coverage, and planning deadlines.
* An attendance tracker and monthly reporting template that distinguish unique participants from repeat class attendance.
* A program-budget worksheet connecting scheduled activities to expected costs, with a simple budget-versus-actual review.
* A strategic implementation, schedule and board-coordination tracker identifying priorities, responsible people, milestones, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions.

The project will conclude with a team walkthrough and written instructions for maintaining the tools. We will prioritize the leadership handoff, calendar, and attendance process, adjusting other deliverables to fit the agreed time commitment.
