About the Opportunity

Our WordPress/Elementor site was built from a provided HTML mockup, and we have a documented, itemized punch list of the remaining items needed to bring it fully in line with that design. Most of what's left is straightforward Elementor-level content and link work — matching section content and link targets to the reference file.

A few items involve custom code: the footer is a global theme component, so making it page-specific (as the design calls for) means editing the theme's footer template directly rather than a per-page Elementor edit. The Home page also has an inline donation widget (amount selector + button) that needs to correctly route to our external donation processor (BetterWorld). Two more items still need resolving: the About page is currently displaying the wrong header/hero content (it shows the Andrew L. Patterson page's header instead of its own), and three links on the Home page (under the "Our Vision," "Our Mission," and "Our Impact" pillar cards) currently point back to the Home page instead of to the About page. We'd welcome the incoming volunteer's technical read on the best approach for these two.

We have a complete reference HTML file and a written implementation guide ready to share — documenting what's done, what's outstanding, and technical considerations for each remaining item — plus a staff contact available for check-ins and to approve deliverables.

A fully corrected website matching our provided reference HTML exactly across all six pages (Home, About, Andrew L. Patterson, Apply, Get Involved, FAQs). Specifically:

- Every content and link correction on our punch list implemented and verified against the reference file
- Page-specific footers built via theme-level customization, replacing the current single global footer
- A working donation widget on the Home page that correctly routes to our external donation processor, with every other page's "Donate Now" button linking directly to the same processor
- The About page's header/hero section corrected to show its own content (currently showing the Andrew L. Patterson page's header instead)
- The three "Our Vision," "Our Mission," and "Our Impact" links on the Home page corrected to point to the About page (currently linking back to Home)
- A full click-through QA pass of every link and button on every page, checked against the reference file, before the project is considered complete

Success means a fully corrected, launched site that students, families, mentors, and donors can navigate without hitting broken links or mismatched content — directly supporting scholarship applications, mentor and volunteer signups, and donations to fund the Andrew L. Patterson Scholarship.
