Help Us Create the Presentation for Our Heart Awards Gala

By the end of this project, we would love to have a complete, polished, and event-ready PowerPoint presentation for the November 14 Heart Awards.

The presentation may include:

• Welcome and opening slides
• Program transitions
• Our mission and impact
• Sponsor and community partner recognition
• Honoree introductions
• Award categories
• Film introduction slides
• Cast and filmmaker recognition
• Fundraising and Fund-a-Need slides
• Donation instructions and QR codes
• Closing acknowledgments
• Holding slides for breaks or technical transitions
• A sponsor loop that can play as guests arrive

We would love for the volunteer to help us review what we already have, organize the presentation so it flows with the program, and create a consistent visual style throughout the deck.

We will provide our current presentation, event program, run of show, photographs, logos, sponsor information, honoree information, film materials, brand colors, and feedback along the way.

Success would mean that the presentation feels like a natural part of the evening and that our event team can operate it confidently. Most importantly, I want it to help guests feel the heart behind the work without overwhelming them with too much information.

Because the event is November 14, we would like the final presentation completed by November 6 so we have time to test it and make any final corrections.

Organization Mission

Becoming Love Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses storytelling, filmmaking, and mentorship to support young adults navigating major life transitions, including those aging out of foster care. Through our non-clinical creative model, participants transform elements of lived experience into characters and stories that help them examine old thought patterns, imagine new possibilities, and write toward what they want to believe about themselves and their futures. They then bring those stories to life through hands-on filmmaking experiences that build confidence, strengthen emotional expression, and develop transferable professional skills.
