About the Opportunity

Our technical development is fully covered: we are building the site on Squarespace and our internal tech lead is executing implementations using clean layouts and curated AI imagery. We need a creative strategist to ensure the website is emotionally resonant, structurally intuitive, and deeply inspiring to a broad, global audience. We are planning a 6-page Squarespace site that must balance universal narrative kindness stories with dedicated sections for scientific research, psychology concepts, FAQs, and resources.

We are looking for a volunteer with UX content strategy, copywriting, and creative direction expertise to translate our goals into a concise site structure, messaging, and visual-direction guidance. The volunteer will:

- Create a comprehensive sitemap and annotated navigation layout for a 6-page Squarespace website that defines page hierarchy, primary and secondary navigation labels, and recommended section structure to balance global kindness stories with pages for scientific research, psychology techniques, FAQs, and resources.
- Provide UX copywriting and messaging deliverables: clear, compassionate navigation labels and microcopy; sample homepage headline and subhead; page-level headings and section introductions; and a concise tone-of-voice and phrasing guide focused on trauma-informed, accessible language for people experiencing depression, stress, or grief.
- Produce an artistic-direction brief that refines a warm, welcoming visual identity, including recommended calming color palettes, typography guidance, imagery direction, and whitespace/layout principles to support emotional safety and inclusivity; include short examples or mock phrasing to guide imagery selection and layout decisions.
This work is scoped for remote, asynchronous delivery and aligns with our estimated 15–20 total volunteer hours over four weeks.
