About the Opportunity

We need a complete visual identity and an implementation-ready brand book to support a rebrand across uniforms, wearables, our website, social media, and organizational materials. We do not currently have consolidated, production-ready logo files, color and typography systems, or supporting imagery and graphics that can be used consistently across these touchpoints.

We are looking for a volunteer with Brand Design expertise to create a full visual identity and a production-ready brand book for Albany Herricanes. The volunteer will:

- Design a primary logo and provide simplified, monochrome, and secondary/alternative logo versions; deliver production-ready vector file formats and high-resolution digital files for each version.
- Define a complete color system and provide color specifications (color names and values such as HEX, RGB, and CMYK) plus guidance on primary/secondary usage and accessible contrast considerations.
- Recommend typography (type family choices and hierarchy), provide outlined fonts or font files as appropriate, and document usage rules for headings, body text, and display treatments.
- Create supporting imagery and graphic elements (icons, patterns, and photo/graphic treatments) with files optimized for uniforms/wearables, website, social media, and printed documentation.
- Compile a brand book that consolidates all assets and guidelines, includes implementation notes for each medium listed above, and bundles the master files needed for production and digital use (vector and high-resolution assets, color specs, font references, and simplified/monochrome versions).
